Charities
Over the last five years, the North Carolina International Auto Expo has donated more than $150,000 to the organizations listed on this page. The Wake County New Vehicle Dealers Association is proud to keep giving back to our communities and to help those in need.
Why giving back matters to us
A car show brings thousands of people together, and that gathering can do real good. Each year the Expo turns ticket sales, community goodwill and the efforts of local dealers into support for organizations that serve neighbors across Wake County and North Carolina.
The recipients work in many fields: youth programs, health care, public safety, education, food and housing help, and research. By supporting a wide range of causes, the Wake County New Vehicle Dealers Association helps people at every stage of life.
When you buy a ticket or visit a dealer booth, you are part of that effort. Thank you for helping us make a difference.

Causes we are proud to support
Health and research organizations such as the Colon Cancer Coalition, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Foundation of Hope help patients and families facing serious illness. Hospice of Wake County offers comfort in life’s hardest moments, and Make-a-Wish Foundation of ENC brings joy to children.
Youth organizations including the Alexander Family YMCA, the Boys & Girls Club of Wake County, Wilder’s Grove Youth Center, Kids on Guard and SafeChild give young people safe places to learn and grow. Education is supported through Wake County Public Schools, the Wake Technical CC Foundation, the NC Agriculture Foundation Scholarship and Wakefield High School PTSA.
Public safety and community service are central to our giving. The Raleigh Police Department, the Police Memorial Foundation, Police Unity Tour, Wake County Sheriff’s Life Saver program and Wake County F.O.P. Shop with a Cop help officers serve and protect, while MADD, the Salvation Army and Southlight address hardship and recovery.
