Event Features
The NC International Auto Expo is more than a showroom under one roof. Alongside the newest cars, trucks and SUVs, the show brings family entertainment, community partners, a classic car display and a charity run that honors fallen officers. Here is what to look for.

Family Fun with Scooby-Doo
Bring the kids and bring the camera. Scooby-Doo is part of the family fun at the show, greeting children, posing for photos and adding energy to the aisles. Young visitors can enjoy a break from walking the floor while parents continue to explore vehicles nearby.
Appearance times are listed on the schedule, so check the times when you arrive and plan your day around them. Children under 6 are admitted free and preteens pay only $4, which makes the Expo an easy and affordable outing for the whole family.
Expo Floorplan
The Jim Graham Building holds a large number of exhibits, so a good plan saves time. The Expo floorplan shows where each manufacturer, dealer group and exhibitor is located, and it helps you find the booths you care about first.
Start with your must-see list, such as a vehicle you are thinking of buying, then wander through the rest of the hall. Floorplans are available during the show and can be used to meet friends or family at a landmark booth if you split up.
Highway PatrolPublic safety partner
North Carolina Highway Patrol
The North Carolina Highway Patrol joins the Expo to share safety information with visitors. Troopers and representatives are available to talk about safe driving, seat belt and child seat use, and how to be a safer driver on the road.
It is a practical addition to a car show. After you choose your next vehicle, you can learn how to drive it responsibly and keep your family protected.
Classic Car Show at Dorton Arena
On Saturday and Sunday, classic cars take over Dorton Arena. Owners bring carefully restored vehicles from many eras, and visitors can enjoy chrome, color and craftsmanship that no new showroom can match.
Walk the rows, ask owners about their restoration stories and take photos with your favorites. It is a favorite stop for car lovers of every age and a nice contrast to the latest models in the main building.

Our HeroesIn honor of our fallen officers
Run for Our Heroes
Run for Our Heroes is held in honor of our fallen officers and connects to the Raleigh Police Department. The event reminds us of the people who serve our community and the sacrifice some of them make.
Visitors can learn how to take part, support the cause and meet members of the department at the show. It is one of the ways the Expo gives something back, alongside the charities supported by the Wake County New Vehicle Dealers Association.
Make the most of your visit
Pick your priorities
Decide which features matter most to your group. Families often start with Scooby-Doo, car enthusiasts head straight to Dorton Arena, and shoppers study the floorplan before talking with dealers.
Tickets and parking
Tickets are sold at the Box Office kiosks outside the Jim Graham Building. There are no advance sales, and parking is free for everyone.
Saturday and Sunday
The Classic Car Show runs only on Saturday and Sunday, so choose a weekend day if you want to see it. Sunday closes at 5 PM, so arrive earlier for the full experience.
